AirTech Studio Top Down Converter

The Airtech Studio Top Down Converter (TDC) is a precision hop-up upgrade designed to improve accuracy and consistency in compatible airsoft hop-up chambers. It converts a standard hop-up system into a Top-Down Centre (TDC) pressure system, allowing the hop nub to apply perfectly vertical pressure onto the BB for more stable backspin and improved shot grouping.

By replacing the traditional side or angled hop adjustment method, the TDC system ensures more even contact across the hop window, reducing BB wobble and improving long-range performance. This makes it especially popular for R-hop, flat-hop, and precision DMR-style builds, where consistency and accuracy are critical.

Typically installed inside the hop-up chamber, the converter uses a guided trolley or bracket system that allows fine, micro-adjustable hop control while maintaining a stable and repeatable pressure point on the bucking.
